Bidding on the headline lots
In the room
The headline lots are sold one by one from the stage. Catch the auctioneer’s eye, or raise your paddle – the screens show the current bid as it climbs.
Not there? Leave a holding bid
On any live lot you can leave a maximum absentee bid online. We’ll bid on your behalf up to that figure, as if you were in the room.
The hammer decides
Live lots are won in the room, so the highest online holding bid may still be outbid on the night. If you win, we’ll be in touch straight after the sale.
